Project Delivery and Revision Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This Project Delivery and Revision Policy sets out how Melique Sound delivers completed work and how revisions are requested, scoped, and handled. It is designed to keep every online project clear, predictable, and fair for both sides.

01Project stages

A typical engagement moves through briefing, production, review, revision, approval, and final delivery. The exact stages and checkpoints for your project are set out in your proposal so you always know what comes next.

02How work is shared for review

During production we share progress for review through private streaming links or reduced-quality or watermarked previews. These previews are for evaluation only and may not be distributed, released, or used commercially until final files are delivered and paid for in full.

03Review windows

After each deliverable is shared, you have a review window—stated in your proposal—to provide consolidated feedback or approval. If we do not receive feedback within that window, the deliverable may be treated as approved so that the schedule can proceed.

04What counts as a revision

A revision is an adjustment that refines the work within the agreed brief—such as balancing an element, adjusting a level, or tightening timing. Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds. A "round" means one consolidated set of feedback returned together, not a series of separate, piecemeal requests.

05What counts as additional work

The following are outside the standard revision allowance and are quoted separately as additional work:

  • a change of creative direction after a direction was approved;
  • new songs, versions, edits, or deliverables not in the original scope;
  • additional length, stems, or formats;
  • reintroducing material or ideas previously removed at your request; and
  • changes required because source material was replaced or updated.

06Submitting feedback effectively

Clear feedback produces better results faster. Please consolidate notes into a single message per round, reference specific timestamps where possible, and describe the outcome you want. Conflicting or fragmented feedback may extend timelines.

07Approvals

When you approve a deliverable, that stage is considered final. Changes requested after approval are handled as additional work. Approval may be given explicitly or, per the review-window rule above, by the passage of time without feedback.

08Final delivery

Once the work is approved and payment is complete, we deliver final files in the agreed formats through a secure online method. We recommend you download and back up your files promptly upon delivery.

09File retention and re-delivery

We aim to retain project materials for a reasonable period after delivery so we can re-send files if needed, but we do not guarantee indefinite storage. Requests to retrieve or recreate files after our standard retention period may incur a fee. Keeping your own backups is strongly encouraged.

10Delays outside our control

Timelines assume timely materials, feedback, and payment. Delays caused by missing inputs, slow responses, or events beyond our reasonable control may shift delivery dates accordingly and are not the responsibility of Melique Sound.
